Bitmain, a leading Bitcoin miner supplier, has unveiled its latest product, the Antminer T21. The air-cooled BTC miner has a computing power of 190 TH/s and an energy efficiency ratio of 19 J/TH. The Antminer T21 was officially launched at the Blockchain Life 2023 Forum in Dubai, where Bitmain was a diamond sponsor. The mining device is expected to start shipping in January 2024 and supports the SHA256 mining algorithm used for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Bitmain also offered buyers of the Antminer T21 a price protection plan to safeguard against declines in cryptocurrency prices. Other companies in the ASIC mining industry, such as Canaan, have also released new mining devices recently. However, the ASIC industry has faced challenges, with prices per terahash dropping significantly amid increased competition.
