However, the current market price for XRP is $0.63 according to CoinGecko. Some observers suggest that the price fluctuations may be due to a thin order book and low liquidity following the relisting. Others jokingly commented that it was a forecast of where the XRP price will go in the future. Gemini has announced site maintenance and disabled cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals. The exchange relisted XRP for trading on August 10 after a court ruling that XRP is not a security when sold on exchanges. Gemini has not yet provided a comment on the situation.
